This stunning cantilever desk, produced by Jimeco, Bogota (labelled), is variously attributed to Karl Springer and Enrique Garcel, who both had their designs made in Colombia in the late 20th century. Lacquered tropical hardwood, with
steel-covered plinth base & unusual oval chromed steel drawer knobs. There are four drawers to the left & one long slim drawer to the right. Condition is overall excellent, with just a few scuffs / bruises – the most noticeable
is on the front edge, towards the left ( see close-up photos)
